Jeffreys Toy Closet has a great start in bringing toys to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital in memory of Mike Kivett and Erica Millican. With such a great Christmas record of 26,789 toys so far for sick and needy kids, Jeffreys Toy Closet can’t begin to express thankfulness for everyone who has supported bringing joy to the many sick and needy kids that were helped.

Helping sick and needy children is a great passion that Young Lion’s Legend Racer Jeffrey Stanton strives to help everytime he straps on his helmet and firesuit with his Jeffreys Toy Closet Legend race car.  Mr. Mike Kivett was a special friend to Jeffrey Stanton who showed kindness in helping young Jeffrey get his first Lowes Motor Speedway trophy. Erica Millican lost her battle with many struggles at the age of 13 years but in her short life showed much caring and love to many. her dad, Mr. Scott Millican along with his wife Tammy greatly support Jeffreys Toy Closet and his racing which inturn helps many children throughout the country.

Last year Jeffreys Toy Closet was able to bring well over 1500 toys, games and bikes to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital for the patients to enjoy while recovering from severe illnesses and injuries.

Jeffreys Toy Closet will be holding toy drives at multiple racetracks including Ace Speedway on Febuary 18th and Orange County Speedway on Feb 25th. Jeffrey Stanton is currently racing in the CSS Winter Series where he currently has eyes on a championship with only 33 points to 1st.

The kids at the hospital especially enjoy colorbooks, crayons, games, puzzles, videos, arts and crafts, dolls, cars and any toy that can be layed with while recovering from illness. The kids at the hospital especially enjoy colorbooks, crayons, games, puzzles, videos, arts and crafts, dolls, cars and any toy that can be layed with while recovering from illness.

Jeffreys Toy Closet can’t begin to thanks the many who have donated toys and have supported him in his walk to bring joy to the many kids he helps. If it wasn’t for the area racers Jeffreys Toy Closet wouldn’t be as successful and it is only fitting that we remember Mike Kivett and Erica Millican live’s with children having joy in times of struggles.

Jeffrey’s Toy Closet & US Legend Cars helping NY / PA flood victims

Jeffreys Toy Closet is collecting items for the Flood Victims of Broome County New York area The Binghamton New York and surrounding areas were hard hit with devastating flood damage from Tropical Storm Lee.

Jeffreys Toy Closet in conjunction with US Legends International is collecting needed items to send to the Broome County area.

Jeffrey Stanton, founder of Jeffreys Toy Closet was deeply saddened by the horrible news of so many families that lost everything. Jeffrey’s parents and grandparents are from the Broome County area. The images are just heart wrenching. Jeffrey asked US Legends International of they could help him collect up items and ship them to the area. Recently US Legends and Jeffreys Toy Closet sent stuff to the Joplin area after the horrific tornados.

.Items needed are baby food, formula, diapers, wipes, non perishable food, new undergarments, backpacks, pet food and supplies, toiletries, towels, blankets, clothes, school supplies, pillows, cleaning supplies or anything that you think a family that has just lost everything could use. Toys are also being collected..

Please continue to pray for the victims of the New York/Pennsylvania flooding. Many have lost entire homes and are without flood insurance. This is a depressed area of the country economically and its people are now facing a very difficult blow during an already difficult time.

Items may be brought to US Legends at either their store or at the hauler at Concord Speedway. Jeffrey Stanton Racing will also be collecting items. Jeffreys Toy Closet can also pick up items in the Concord-Charlotte-Salisbury area.

Mike Kivett Memorial Toy Drive races into Victory Lane!

Mike Kivett Toy Drive Races into Victory Lane! On July 28th, 2010 when founder Jeffrey Stanton and some very special guests to Jeffreys Toy Closet will deliver the many boxes of toys, bringing great joy to Jeffrey’s heart as he knows his buddy Mike Kivett will be looking down from heaven with the biggest smile ever, knowing his love for others carries on. Mr. Mike Kivett was a avid fan of Jeff Gordon and Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Hospital. In fact was the place he said his goodbyes until we all meet in heaven someday again. Jeffrey just found it fitting that a toy drive in Mike’s memory for all of the love he shown Jeffrey and so many others especially his children Tyler and Ashley Kivett along with all of his family members and friends and would carry on the joy of new toys for kids who are sick or in need. Jeffreys Toy Closet can’t begin to thank the many people who help him bring joy to kids throughout the Charlotte area and across the USA with great toy donations.

Jeffreys Toy Closet looks to carry on the Mike Kivett Memorial Toy Drive on a yearly basis and also is looking into securing funds for a Dream Racer for the Jeff Gordon’s Children Hospital in the replica of Mike’s old 7 car. Jeffrey Stanton is securing sponsorship for this. Jeffreys Toy Closet now moves onto collecting toys for Partner’s in Learning of Salisbury, NC who help kids with developmentally learning issues such as autism and is kicking off it’s Christmas Angel project hoping to help families with toys and food baskets. A raffle will soon be announced to kick off this great cause.
